Before joining the club, you need to know how to shoot safely. This means you must have completed an Archery GB approved beginners' course, or have previous archery experience.
As a beginner, we strongly recommend not buying your own equipment for a couple of months, until your technique has developed and your fitness has built up. At that point, seek advice from our coaches and members who can offer their experience to make sure you get the correct equipment without wasting your money!
Information regarding the annual membership fees, and how the club operates, is available either on this website or in our club guide.
Please note:
We cannot accept juniors below the age of 8 under any circumstances.
Membership of Burton Bridge Archers is subject to approval by the committee.
If you wish to apply to join the club, please fill in the form below. We will get back to you with details on the next steps you need to follow to become a club member. In the comments section, please let us know where you completed your beginners' course, or which club you were previously a member of. Please also mention if you have a disability as this affects the fee you would pay to join.
If you do not have a beginners course certificate, and you have not previously been a member of an AGB affiliated archery club, please select 'Other' under experience, and describe your experience level in the comments. We need to ensure that all of our members can shoot safely to AGB standards, so if you are a self taught archer, we will usually ask you to complete a course before joining.
